Power Window Malfunction?
Brand new C6 and the "indexed glass" feature that automatically moves the window up and down the last 1/2 inch won't work. You can use the switch and move it up the last 1/2 inch but the auto feature up won't work. Any advice? Does the window control know the door is closed?

Sounds like you need to re-index the window. Just lower the window all the way and continue to hold the window button for 5 seconds after the window is all the way down. Then raise the window all the way up again and continue to hold for 5 more seconds. That should re-index your window. Hope that is the problem. Do the same for the passenger's window if it is not properly indexing (but it sounds like it is, strange?)

Yeah you need to reset the window. When I fixed mine this is what I did: turn on the acc's w/o starting the car, close the door, raise the window by pulling the switch and hold the up switch for three seconds after the window is closed, then release the switch. hold the up switch again for three seconds and release. These steps are also in the manual pg 2-18 Power Window Initialize.
