Nav unit and Detour function
Has anyone used the Detour function successfully?
How did you get it to work, My system only says it can find no alternates when I select this option when in traffic.

I was just playing around with the Nav and didn't really need a re-route but it seemed to work just fine... I'll play with it again tonight and then let you know if I find anything more involved than I recall.

I didn't know there was any special detour button or option so I must not pay too close of attention.
If I get a detour or a blocked road, or decide to turn somewhere off the designated route, the nav system will map out a new route automatically based on the direction and road I have taken. Pretty much at any time on the route if you make a wrong turn the car should map out a new path without having to hit any buttons.
That's my story and I am sticking with it.

My expierence with just doing a re-route by driving on an alternative route is that the Nav keep's trying to send me back to the road I was on.... not so helpful.... If someone can confirm the 3 additional choices upon selecting detour... I think that is what I am trying to get...
