From Colonial Chevy in Norfolk, VA.

Mr. Hasten,
Hi, I've been looking into your request. I do have a Black Z06 on the lot. The MSRP on the car is $70,190, but if you have done much Z06 shopping you know these cars are selling at a premium. Our asking price is $110,000. That is a starting point for negotiations. I welcome you to come out and look at the car to see if it is the one that is right for you.
Check out the information below if you need to do more research before coming in. If you have any questions or would like to set an appointment, please call me or simply reply to this email so we can get started.

I purchased my 2006 C6 Coupe from Huffines in Plano Texas about 3 weeks ago. I was talking to my sales guy the other day about the crazy Z06 prices and he told me they had 2 on the way and they always sell their Z06's at MSRP. Ask for TJ if your interested.

I would reply...How about we "start" at $70,190 and negotiate from there.

Add one Word:
How about we "start" at $70,190 and negotiate downwardfrom there.

There's $10k of profit at $70k MSRP, ain't that enough?
By the way, Exactly how long has it been sitting on your lot?

Heard through the grapevine that one sold off the truck at a local dealer here for $91K....and this is rural Southwest Virginia!

Also that dealers are offering each other as much as 10-15K above MSRP just to get theirs...the only thing I can figure is lower allocation numbers mean higher demand, but the population around here is nothing compared to even mid-tier cities.

Seems to be several at the dealers on the net...go figure.

The person who pays that price will pay too much for a stock too.

But God I love those people

Saw a semi with 4 on there yesterday on the way home. I thought with the other two C6 on there the value was about $350,000, guess I was a bit low like $150,000. I picked up my C6 about 45 days ago here in OK and two dealers were waiting on Z06's to arrive which had already been sold for MSRP. Go figure? Look what the bidding is doing on Ebay...it is crazy!
