I placed an order yesterday for a 2007 Le Mans Blue Coupe, 3LT, Z51, Two-tone titanium interior, Comp. Grey Wheels.
I've ordered the car from Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin Chevy. Tommy Jr. answered all my questions, seemed to be very honest and upfront as well as making me a great deal on the car. This will be my first Corvette and in fact my very first GM product. Other than my Dodge truck, I've pretty much always owned foreign cars (BMW, VW, Lotus, Toyota, Volvo etc..) I'm really looking forward to getting the Vette. It's hard to deny that it's the best bang for the buck sports car you can get. I can't wait to get the car. Tommy Jr. said he expects a mid to late August delivery. So the wait begins.
I look forward to using this forum to learn as much as I can about the car before it arrives.
Congratulations, I have placed an order for an almost identical car with a forum dealer - Lemans Blue, coupe, 6 spd, two tone titanium interior, Z51, 3 LT, comp grey wheels - no nav or onstar. Should have car early August. Can't wait.
Fantastic! Which transmission? Nav? Did you get any info on how much the 2-tone seats will cost?
6 speed manual, no nav, no onstar. Not sure about the two-tone seat pricing. I've heard it could be somewhere between $500 - $1,000. but that's just speculation.

How do you know you got a good deal if you don't know how much the two tone seats cost?

Congrats, I thought with the 3LT the nav was standard, as is On Star.
We would appreciate it if you'd just come out and tell us about your DEAL. Bottom line, that's what most of us are interested in hearing about.
We understand that you - at this time - don't know the exact 07 price. BUT, are you paying MSRP? If not, how much under, etc.

I suggest you contact Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin and see what he can do for you. To answer your question, I'm not paying MSRP. Based on what the 06's are going for I'm gettin a very good discount. Although, I don't think it would be fair to Tommy Jr. or very ethical on my part to discuss the details. I can tell you that I contacted a dozen dealers in the last week and I was able to narrow things down to just two dealers yesterday morning. Rick Daniel at Les Stanford and Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin. Both offered similar discounts off MSRP. I decided to order from Tommy Jr. simply because I felt a little more comfortable with him on the phone. His dealership is a little closer to me and he also came highly recommended on this forum.
I thought you couldn't order until June 1st? And weren't all GM cars coming with onstar in 2007?
You can put a deposit on an '07 and get your name on the waiting list now. Both Rick Daniel at Les Stanford and Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin are compiling lists.
Onstar is still optional. That could change later in the model year but as of now it's the same as '06.
