Default C6 Underhood Temperature

I wasn't too keen on having my Priority Start bouncing around on the glorified supermarket broccoli stem rubber band that comes with it, so I installed it to the face of the battery with an adhesive 3M fastener backed up by a locking web strap.

The adhesive will likely soften with prolonged exposure to high temps.

Anyone know the approximate maximum underhood temp of a C6 driven at 70 or so, and in stop and go traffic?

I'm not sure if duration of driving makes a big difference or if the temp heats up fast and hits a plateau.

TIA!
