I just installed the Priority Start and I wanted to instigate a DBS is see/test if it is working. What is the best way to have it go on? If I park the car and leave it in neutral everything ie. lights, radio ect. stay on. Will it still drain the battery if I put it in reverse and then back to neutral before exiting the car? I know this is a pretty dumb question but I just want to do it the easiest way without causing other battery problems!

The only way to do it is to deliberately let your battery discharge to the point to where it kicks in. 11.7 volts for a full minute, and then try it.
I have no desire to try this and trust that it works as advertised.

Not a dumb question. If you shut down properly in reverse you can then leave your car sit in any gear.
The best way to check it out is to shut down in neutral and leave it there despite the DIC warning.
However a total drainage is not too healthy for your battery.
Thanks for your help guys. I think I will just assume it working and I'll find out one day if I go out and the car door will not open! Other than just letting it go naturally, if I put it in reverse shut the car down and then shift into neutral will this still drain the battery or does it think it is still properly shutdown? This question may have been answered but I'm not quite sure.

As long as the DIC message 'shift to reverse' doesn't appear, it is properly shut down and you can leave your car in any gear.
In my car after I turn it off, if I rush the shift from reverse to neutral the message may come on.
Within a couple of days of installing mine I needed it - and it came through. Worked like a charm. Pushed in the lighter and off I went. I just happened to be on my way to a Corvette club meeting.
