Default "Personalization" Question

I'm trying "personalize" my C-6 so that at start-up it shows my name.

I know how to enter the letters but can't figure how to ERASE mistakes. The manual doesn't cover erasing that I can find. So my questions:

1. How do I erase one superfluous letter?
2. How do I erase the whole thing at once to start over?

Thanks.

Hey Big Jimm,

I did mine by trial and error. The "blank" letter (or eraser) is at the end of the alphabet, so you click all the way through the alphabet until you get to the blank and that erases the wrong letter. As for how to erase the whole line - I don't know other than doing a letter-at-a-time. Maybe someone else on the forum knows a quick way to erase a whole line. Good Luck.

No indication in the owner's manual that there is a faster way to correct letters or erase the whole line. However, it does say you can scroll through the letters faster and without the extra beeps by holding down the OPTIONS button instead of pressing it repeatedly.

Here's some additional info. for clarification.

5. Press the OPTION button again until the letter you
want is displayed. To scroll through the letters
faster and without a beeping noise, keep the
OPTIONS button depressed. There is a complete
alphabet and a blank space available.
6. Then press the RESET button to select the letter of
your choice and proceed on to the next space to
the right.
If you make a mistake and would like to clear or
replace a letter, perform the following steps:
6.1. Press the RESET button to reach the letter
you would like to change.
6.2. Press the OPTION button to scroll through
the letter choices.
6.3. Press the RESET button to select the
letter and proceed on to the next space
to the right.

I erased "driver 1" letter by letter. No way that I could see(or in the manual) to erase the whole line.
