Default Steering wheel damage

I just noticed a scratch on my black leather steering wheel. It is about an inch long gouge at about 2 o'clock.

I had it at the dealers for the FLYWHEEL recall, (it was there for 23 days) but finally got it back about 10 days ago. Just notice this yesterday, but I swear I didn't do this.

Seems to me that 10 days is a bit past the point where I can bring this to the dealers attention. And who knows, maybe I did to it myself without noticing.

Makes me sick when I feel it.

Is there any way to repair scratches in leather?

Call the dealer and ask for the service manager and tell them.Dealers have interior guys who can fix that. They use them in the used car dept.

If the dealer did it, they are responsible for the repair. Good luck.

This might be a tough one after 10 days. Is it noticeable from where you sit? or in a place where you can just feel it? I am sure it was done while at the dealership as you would remember or found something like this sooner than now. Anyway, good luck.

If you don't get the dealer to fix it a tiny amount of super glue and then quickly wiped off will make it much more appealing (if you are talking about the leather). BTW - super glue is also great for paper cuts on your fingers and there is a medical grade for deeper cuts.

Yeah, but like he said, 10 days is a long time...now if he had noticed it the day that he got the car back, it may be a different story. It is not a big deal and the dealer has ways to fix it and they may do if for free just to keep their customer satisfied.
