I was taking my new pride & joy out for a drive on Sunday and passed another VR coupe. I had my roof off and gave them the wave! The passenger returned it with the same .
On Sunday I was on the highway and saw a C3 in my rear view mirror. I slowed down a bit just before I got to my exit so he could catch up, and we waved to each other. Following closely behind the C3 was a DSOM C6 and we waved to each other also. It was very cool because both cars each had a passenger, so I got four waves for the price of two.
I also thought it was extremely cool to see a C3 and a C6 travelling together like that.
Even though I've had my car for a couple of years now, it still brings a huge smile to my face whenever I have a successful "wave"
Terrific...clearly it didn't happen in north Texas.
I am in North Texas (Dallas/Plano) and give and receive waves with good success in the six weeks since I got my DSOM C6. I do have a newby question. What is the proper wave. I have received everything from a hand above the windshield, full hand interior wave, four fingers lifted above the steering wheel and a two finger V (for Vette not Peace?). What is the cool wave?
Oh the wave!
I pulled a wave from a Red Viper Coupe yesterday . I was ready
for him but he waved first. Unfortunately there were no C6's to be found and I saw just one C4 cross an intersection out of waving range.
Maybe next time!
My wife and I were passed by a guy in a Mercury Sable on the New York State Thruway this pass Saturday. The driver tooted his horn and gave us a thumbs up as he passed us. We thought this was very cool!!!
