I got out of my C6 today for a quick sec and when I started it...the NAV screen was almost black...you could just see a very faint image but it is unreadable....am I missing some brightnees issue or is it another problem?

Is it in night mode? Dark background, light lines? If so Is something covering the light sensor on the dash?

If that's not the problem, the brightness adjustment is buried in the radio setting screens. I had to readjust the brightness on mine once for some unknown reason.

If the light sensor is in the garage or a dark shadow the head light go on and the NAV dims. When the headlights go out the NAV goes back to the day screen. I have my head lights on auto.
