RE: wheel alignment. Just because it's new does not mean it is right. I had my 06- Z51 checked by a person I trust 100% and watched the whole job. We found the right front and left rear right on. The left front camber was off and right rear toe was off. Not off by much and on the edge of the "green" on the alignment display. I gave him a copy of the GM shop manual specs and we put it dead-on on all 4 wheels. I feel much better. Also, just for info, 1 or 2 lug nuts on each wheel were below spec. So, you might want to check the alignment and lugs.
Those run-flats are very expensive to replace and they don't last very long. The factory alignment is done fast and at best it is marginal. The wise owner will spend a few dollars and get the alignment done by a professional. The extra tire life will be worth the cost of the alignment and the car will handle better.
How often should you have a 4 wheel alignment done on your C6?
Once right, then watch tire wear and pay attention to handling.
Someone with more experiance with late model Corvettes can give you a better idea of mileage but a well designed car holds alignment for a long time unless it get whacked into something.
People are going to call me nuts, but on my daily drivers, I rotate the tires every 5K and haven't aligned a car in 15 years. I used to turn my cars every 150K (had kids to pass them too) and never put more than two sets of tires on any of them. I know, I have just been lucky, but I solved my alignment problems by not aligning.
All have been Ford or Chrysler products, the Corvette is my first GM since 1980....

I thought that simply hitting a pothole could knock the wheels out of alignment.
