Go to the hardware store and get a roll of Velcro with 3M stickie on the back. Put a couple of strips of the male velcro on the bottom of the cooler and your done!

Put enough in it so it is heavy enough to sink into the carpet.

You must be starting and stopping really fast.

Plus I have a partition which might help and 2 chairs, cleanup supplies, unbrella and other gear so not much room left.

use a rubber mat in the back. Or, just add ice to one of the 2 deep wells in the back, and convert it to a cooler!

these are some outstanding ideas! roof rack.... small child... dry well...

i have put some thought into these and brillant as they are, i have seen some unsurrmountable hurrdles.
roof rack would conflict with the bike rack...
small child, very insiteful but i'd have a hard time explaining to my girlfriend where that came from, (tried it already...)
dry well toooo small.

guess i'll just go with my first though and ad the trailer hitch.

p.s. the way these as$hats drive around here you better be ready to stop fast.

Little Playmate cooler on the passenger side floor with towels wrapped around it so it doesn't slide around. Makes it a little cramped if you bring a passenger though.

Get course foam blocks the size of a 2x4. Put the cooler either far forward or far aft and block the remaining 3 sides with the foam. You need the sort of stuff they sell in craft stores. High quality stuff is too smooth and will slide on the rug.
