Default RaceMesh Front Screen Installed

Installed my RaceMesh ElectroPolished Stainless Steel front screen. Very simple/quick install. I always felt the front opening needed something to finish it off. For me, this is it.

Two beautiful cars! I got the Silver but when I see that MR it sometimes makes me second guess my decision. Very nice.

How did you install the grille so quickly? I have yet to install mine.

I like it a lot. If I'd have seen that option before I ordered my billet aluminum grille, I'd have gotten the mesh. If it's not too expensive, maybe I will do just that...

I made a little tool from florist wire to help pull the zip-ties through the RaceMesh. Just a short length, doubled-up and twisted together for strength and then a J shaped hook on the end. This lets you do the entire job from the front without having to reach up from underneath. After the zip-ties are pulled tight, clip off the tail end and then push the little gripper block behind the RaceMesh. Finish by painting the zip-ties with a silver Sharpie where they cross the RaceMesh.

Were the side inserts difficult to install? I understand you have to pull off the inner wheel well, and use some double-sided tape and that each side takes at least a half hour. Is that about right? I've hesitated buying the side grilles because the install sounds so difficult.

Not difficult if you take the time to follow the directions that RaceMesh provides. It is easier if you remove the wheels, then you have a simple access to the liner removal, and then the duct opening from the inside. IMPORTANT that you prep or clean the area so the tape & adhesive has a good foundation to adhere to. Took me about 45 minutes for each side as I took my time and was patient.

I had the billet grill. I tried to installit but the angles and bends in it made it look all cockide anddisfigured. DId not fit well at all and the zip ties well, it jsut didn't work for me. But that screen looks pretty goodmay have to do that on mine as well. Looks good
