I have a build date of 6/12. What does that mean exactly. Is the car completed on that date or?? When does one expect to rec a car if given a build date?
That is usually a tentative production week. So it would be expected to be built the week of 6/12. Approx 2 weeks shipping, so you should see it toward the end of the month.

He's a stand up guy and know's his stuff. He has been accurate on my last two vette's. I trust his methods!
Your date is the beginning of the week. Dealers are not assigned a certain day of that week, nor does Allied reserve a certain load day for a dealer. The car could roll-off the line Monday - to Friday and possibly on the following Monday. Not every order is marked as a retail sale, it may sometimes be listed as stock (stock doesn't have priority shipping). Two weeks is a dealer's "Safe bet" to tell customers (providing no QC hold). Kevin used to tell you when your car should be in line and within a day or so later you can call Allied and so on. They even surprised me with a super quick delivery. Last minute weather and driver changes - you name it can fool even those with all the right connections. In short, It's always a roll of the dice!
