Just looking for a little help from the C6 section. My father recently purchased a C6 convertible and would like to know where the build sheet is located on the car. Being a C4 owner myself, I really couldn't help him out (mine was in the front section of the frame, but I really doubt GM does that anymore).
Can anyone give me a heads up on it's location? I know he can order a copy from the museum, but he'd really like the original. Thanks for any insight.
Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. It's sort of a shame in a way, it seems that it's been a long time expectation to be able to get the original build sheet off the car when you purchase it.
2006 Build Sheets are apparently not available as of today. Is this correct? I just got my free one year membership and everything I've seen or read indicates 2005 is the latest data available from NCM.

I received my build sheet the day I picked up the car from the NCM. It's a 2006.

With the C5 they were in the front cross menber of the frame on the drivers side. You had to take the bumper off to get to it. They might still stick one in there.
I did museum delivery September 7, 2005, and specifically asked for my build sheet, and they told me that due to their new policy, they couldn't give it to me, I had to pay for it from the NCM. Policies come and go, maybe this bad one went away after my tour.

Inside the glove box, there is a small version of the build sheet that is glued on the left side.
I remember someone saying that they don't put a build sheet in the bumper anymore like they were doing for the C5.
I was able to order my 2006 build sheet from the NCM. You may just need to do it over the phone. Call the NCM and ask for Betty (she will take the order over the phone and can verify if they have your build sheet yet if its 2006). They don't publish 2006 as an option because they don't get them immediately after the car is built. It takes a few months for the NCM to get access to them. My 2006 car was built in September 2005 and they had the sheet in January 2006.

My build sheet was available when I picked my car up at the museum 3 weeks after it was built.

Thanks. I knew there had to be a reason 2006 was not on the form. I will call her next month when I've had mine for four months.
