No way to know if past history is any lesson, the C4 was around from 1984 to 1996, the C5 from 1997 to 2004, other generations had even shorter production runs.
The sixth generation aka C6 came out in 2005, if I were a betting man I'd say this body style will be around until at least 2011 maybe 2012. Some folks think GM could spring a new gereration upon us sooner like in 2009. I doubt it.

Model Changes are expensive, I would not expect anything more than minor cosmetics until 2012 -2015. And I hope not. Keeps our value up!

C1 = 10 years
C2 = 5 years
C3 = 15 years
C4 = 13 years
C5 = 8 years
It's anybody's guess how long the C6 will last. My guess is 7-8 years.

Bob Lutz recently said that we would be seeing the C7 "sooner rather than later." Tom Wallace recently made a similar comment. These comments have led some to speculate on a 5, 6, or 7-year run for the C6 at most.

My guess is the 2010 model year available in the fall of 2009.

I expect this body style to remain at least as long as the C5 did
