I found some wheels that I love locally for my 01'Z06. These wheels came off a C6 though. I was hoping someone could shed some light on the difference in offset between his C6 and my C5???
Please help..........these are some smokin' wheels and I want them soooo bad but I don't want them to look retarded.
Thanks brother. I have chrome C6 Z06 wheels now, 17x9.5 and 18x10 but I want something custom. A guy I met has some 19x10 and 20x11 on his C6 he wants to sell cheap. He paid over $10K and I would love to have them but I have no idea if they are going to fit or how they are going to look.
From what you are telling me........................NO DICE HUH?
Sounds like if they were stock wheels the fronts would move in less than 1/10". The rears would move in .83". Given the extra wheel width the Stock C6 Rear Wheels would reduce inner fender wheel clearance by 1.08".
My suggestion would be to carefully measure rear clearance with your current tires and then Wheel Backspace on your current wheels. Then measure wheel backspace on the set your buying. It would be even more helpful (although not technically accurate) to measure backspace including mounted tires.
The most likely place to have clearance issues will be on the upper sidewall under full suspension compression.
