ipod install
Click on search and type in ipod. There are alot of members opinions of what systems they used. The one titled c6 ipod nucleus nc-x21 has some good pics of the install. I was looking at doing the same thing. Hope this helps.

C6 DVL did a great write-up on installing the nucleus.
I have this device and here's my review of it:
Installation is a breeze, just hook it up to the XM device. All you have to do is pull off the left side roof mount in the trunk, pull back the carpet, pull out the silver box, and plug in the nucleus as the directions say. Then stash the nucleus (a little white box) on top of the silver XM device. You can run the wire along the left side of the car, behind the seat, through the armrest, and out onto the cupholder. There is a description of how to do this in the link above with photos.
Understanding the device is the next step. I have NAV, so the upper left button on my XM radio became "Nucleus" or sometimes it says "ipod" or sometimes it saus "aux in." Regardless, hitting that button chooses the ipod. Once I plug in the ipod though, it auto-defaults to playing the first song in my library. I can manually cycle through on the ipod, or I can change tracks with the radio controls. I cannot navigate the ipod through the C6 system.
The sound quality is great and I must say, this is single-handedly the best mod I have done for a car ever. I now have my entire music collection at my disposal, and can create playlists.
I have an MN6 and so far the nucleus has not contributed to dead battery syndrome.
Good luck!
I've tried it and it just doesn't work. The maker of the Neucleus unit is working the software issues as we speak (according to him) and will hopefully have it working sooner than later for the rest of us who are not XM ready.
