Caliper cleanser
I've noticed that my red Z06 calipers look as if they are beginning to stain from the brake dust. I wash them offen, using all my little brushes to get into all the nooks and crannies, but they're just not as bright looking as when new. They have a dull grayish hue to them. I use simple soap and water. From a few feet away, they look OK, but close inspection will show this staining, and I don't want it to get any worse. Am I doing something wrong? I always wait until they're cool before washing them.

I use "Simple Orange." It's like simple green on steroids. I also use various sized paint brushes,then flood with cool water. Be sure to drive the car after you wash or the pads will stick to the rotors. They will actually adhere to the rotors!
Anyone got any ideas on how to clean all those holes in the rotors? (Without getting brake dust between the pads & rotors on the inside pads?)
