I haven't heard anything indicated Porsches are more reliable, and they're certainly more expensive to work on in the event something does go wrong.

My Vert is my daily driver. I occasionally take the Z to work, but not very often.

no major problems so far, but I think i need the differential looked into, it's starting to make some strange noises when im turning at low speeds, like in a parking lot.
I hope you broke in your differential properly and drained and change rear end fluid.

Idled mine in 100 degree weather parked with air conditioner on for 15 minutes didn't overheat coolant stayed at 199 to 201. Same thing in 30+ minutes 0f stop and go grid lock traffic like parking lot on freeway with air conditioner on in 90 degree heat. No problems. It still runs and passes the durability test.

I'm still waiting to pick up my C6 (delivery planned for July 4th, counting the days.. ), but I'll be driving her daily (and probably nighlty too).

I'm about 2 miles away from work... and 10 miles away from the golf course (which I usually go to daily too).

So I'll be putting a minimun of 25 to 30 miles every day (I usually average at 13 to 15 000 miles per year).

its my only car, have a 30 minute commute daily. m6, f55, 3lt car here. only 'problems' are the fact you have to be really careful of parking stones and that its damn hard to get good gas mileage when its so fun to hit the gas :o

as far as the c6 being a weekend toy or not, just depends on: 1. what you're willing to deal with 2. the options on the car. an automatic 3LT F55 car is going to be an awesome daily driver. a m6 1LT z51 car might be too rough for some
