Daily driver and I just got in from a trip from Houston to the Smokies and back... 3000+ miles total including five trips on the Tail of the Dragon at Deal's Gap (three down, two up).

There have been so may misconceptions of a C6 not being a daily driver only a weekend toy.

no major problems so far, but I think i need the differential looked into, it's starting to make some strange noises when im turning at low speeds, like in a parking lot.

December 04 delivery, DSOM Z51 just under 39,000 miles. This is a great daily driver. Sweet and quiet one minute, nasty the next. Depends on the need of the moment.
Just back from 2 weeks in Greece driving an underpowered rental!!! Drove the 'Vette already this morning. Heaven! Daily driver since 9/05 (14K)...no problems, but with heat here now in WDC area, creaks from roof. I hate to take it, but to dealer soon for warrenty fix. What a car!!!!! Drivin' and smilin'...
I'm still waiting to pick up my C6 (delivery planned for July 4th, counting the days..
), but I'll be driving her daily (and probably nighlty too).
I'm about 2 miles away from work... and 10 miles away from the golf course (which I usually go to daily too).
So I'll be putting a minimun of 25 to 30 miles every day (I usually average at 13 to 15 000 miles per year).

as far as the c6 being a weekend toy or not, just depends on: 1. what you're willing to deal with 2. the options on the car. an automatic 3LT F55 car is going to be an awesome daily driver. a m6 1LT z51 car might be too rough for some
