Assembly Time

If you could follow a C6 from start to finish at the assembly plant how long does it take to build a completed vehicle ?

A little less than three shifts.

When I was on the tour we were told the average is 1 1/2 days. Mine started Friday and was driven off Monday around noon.

It somewhat depends on whether they are working 8 or 10 hour shifts. Mine started on Thursday and I drove it off the line on Friday - about 33 hours from start to finish, including the time the line stopped on Thursday night.

Usually on the line for two days. Mine went on a Thursday and came off Friday.

Mine started early Friday morning and during a 9 hour shift got to within 5 cars from the end! I couldn't stay the weekend, but at least my son got to start it for the first time, we just didn't get to drive it off the end of the line.
