Creaking front end...
Jami's C6 vert has a creaking noise when turning...
...its not the skid slip
and the noise doesnt come from the rear...
...the noise is in the front suspension and I have had it on the lift and still cant see anyrhing wrong...
...I realize this is prolly a question that has been answered but I dont spend enough time in C6...:o
...with search I discovered skid slip (of course is normal) and the diff issue resolved)

Really hard to diagnose a sound without hearing the sound. I too have a low pitched vibrating kind of sound when backing up at slow speed with the brakes on and the wheel at close to full lock. It's not the skid slip, I know what that sounds and feels like. My sound is very loud both inside and outside the car. Its almost feels like the brake rotors vibrating. I can actually feel the vibration in the steering wheel. Goes away when I get off the brake. Sound like what you have?

I would use a torque wrench and check the torque on the upper and lower control arms and brake calipers.
Even though it sounds like the front suspension, it could be coming from somewhere else.
