The assembly doesn't in any way look 'laminated' in the usual sense of the word. Two pieces are just tacked together with adhesive at the corners.
From the photos I've seen, the panel appears to be attached to the frame by two continuous, concentric beads of glue: one along the outer edge of the metal frame, and one along the inner edge.
My car is sitting in my garage. Sorry, I should have said 3 more weeks to get my car to a driveable condition. But yes, I must be crazy to have this car, be making payments all along, just to have a garage ornament. The craziest part is that after 22 years of owning my c3 I got tired of it sitting in the garage all of the time, waiting for me to fix it. I thought I would buy a nice, new reliable C6 and just enjoy.

No doubt it's hasn't been done right whatever it is.
Laminate (verb) usually means sticking layers of something together. Heat and pressure aren't required to meet the definition. That nipick aside, I agree that they aren't laminated by common definitions.
Bonded or glued would be better descriptions since they are only glued in two rows around the edges.
