In Florida a law has been passed that signals must be used to change lanes.... not really enforced from what I see.

Used to have to put up with rush hour in the Detroit area and the first thing you learn is to never use turn signals to switch lanes..... just move over into an openning without signalling. Otherwise you get hung out and stuck in the lane you are in. Sad but true.

How is anyone supposed to know your intentions? Am I, as I approach you at speed, supposed to divine your lane intentions by some kind of mind meld or telepathy?
Use your freaking turn signals and be a safe driver!!! Sheesh.
Oh, don't hog the left lane and watch your mirrors, either, while I am ranting.
