I'm thinking of getting a yellow interior trim kit to match my exterior color.
Just wondering how hard it is to get the old trim off and the new one on.
Thanks.
Greetings
GM does not offer this color. I purchased mine from the vette shop http://vetteshop.cc/default.asp?S=503&A=E&PKV=9046|0 . Came with instructions and took me about to hours to complete. The most difficult part was unplugging all the connectors. They do send instructions with the purchase. I am very happy with the results.
I bought a Zip Products kit for mine.. is backordered... Whats weird is that my 2005 appears to have one big silver consol, so I am courious to see how the DSOM Trim kits works with it. Pics later when its on the car... try zip-products.com

Very nice job there. How did you do the steering wheel? Take it off & have it painted, replaced it with a new one? Did you have the seats re-upholstered or are they covers?

Thanks.... My car is a 2005 and I have changed the steering wheel to the 2006 three spoke wheel.. It required three parts, wheel, airbag and clock spring. In this 2006 wheel, the small end caps come off with just one screw per side, after of course removing the airbag. I remove them and painted with touch up paint from scratchpaint.com.
I replaced the factory seat covers, (bottom> and back center area with leather covers from a company call brite ideas. I saved my original covers if I ever want to go back to black. The color does not match perfectly, but I like it. This was a four hour job for me.
