I just went to my dealer today and checked up on my order, my Corvette is to be built the week of 7/17/2006. I ordered my 2007 Corvette Coupe with only two options: Z51 Performance Package and Automatic Transmission/Paddle Shifters. I also got the whole build sheet of my car with all kinds of information on it like the order# and things like that and the sheet says,GM OrderWorkBench -for dealer use only-, is there any website or something I can put the order number in to access more info and check for updates?
I only asked becuase the salesman at the dealer told me there is a website I can access and punch in the infomation that's on the sheet and I'll get lots of info and updates on my car, but he just left it at that and I didn't ask him what website, I thought somebody might know.
There's no such web site that's accessible by the public. It amazes me, some of the stuff that dealers tell people. I've got to wonder if they're intentionally trying to mislead or they're just plain ignorant.

my coupe is being built the same week. victory red/ebony, 6 speed, Z51, dual roofs, chrome wheels, navigation and museum deivery. the dealer told me that there were no constraints as of last week. the only way to check status is thru the dealer.
