I received a qoute for a 2007 C6 (not ZO6) with $5,000 off the list price and they pay the FL sales tax. That's an addditional $3,500 savings. No dealer prep or other fees. This too good to be true?
Not a sponsor of the site so I will not name the dealer.
It says YOU will pay sales tax. The YOU is ME!
too good beacuse I CAN NOT READ!!!!!
Sorry for taking everyones time

Yeah, it sounds too good to be true. That is somewhere around GMS pricing. Watch out for "dealer" add-ins like advertising, mandatory dealer installed accessories, etc. that are added to your quote.

Sounds like gms to me also ,but dealer paying tax- stuff like that throws up red flags to me
Have you salesperson draw up the sales contract and get the manager's signature. Highly unusual for a dealer to pay state sales tax. I don't see how they could be making any money on the car at essentially $8,500 off MSRP.

Might want to make sure it's not a pre-owned or other program car, rather than brand new.
