Default New guy needs help.

First, I would like to say how much I enjoy the CF, lots of great ideas and helpful discussions on these threads. I am an 05' DSOM MN6 Coupe owner since May 05'. My question is, how do you protect that bottom 1/2'" of your side windows? My windows are getting little scratches from the window indexing and I try like heck to keep everything clean. Any ideas would be appreciated.
P.S. Happy 4th of July to our southern friends

I put 19,000 on my 05 in 18 months and never had a problem with that. Sounds like something down inside the door is doing it. Ask your dealer to take a look at it.

Had mine since Nov 04. Kept outside & a daily driver. Have not seen or heard of this problem.

1. Put the window all the way down.
2. Insert a microfiber cloth into the window track.
3. Run it back & forth several times to clean the track.
4. Inspect the cloth for grit.
5. Repeat as necessary
6. Drink Heavily

Default Thanks

Thanks, I'll try the microfiber trick. Do you clean your windows with anything other than water or window cleaner?
Looks like a Molsons kind of day.

Shouldn't step 5 follow step 6?

I clean my windows only with water and microfiber towels only because they are tinted. Never had the problem with the windows being scratched though.

I use Stoner's Invisible Glass but Molson's will work as well
