How Does One Find The Month Of Manafacture Of My Vette? I Know The Year Is Encoded On The Vin, But What About The Month??thanks

The month and year are on a sticker on the drivers door. You cannot find the day anywhere on the car. You can PM one of a couple of forum members like Sponge Vette that have access to GM's VIS which can get you a listing of options, open recalls, service performed and manufacturing detail. This will provide you with your "born on date". You can also get this information from any dealer willing to take the time to do it for you.

The GM Vehicle Inquiry System will provide a print out that looks like this. Here is the one for my car as an example. All they need is the VIN number and voila
