Default 2007 C6 1LT Question

Does the 2007 C6 1LT have the 6 disc CD changer? Also does the rearview mirror have the passenger air bag light?

One more question, is there any visual difference between 1LT seats and the 2LT-3LT sport seats?

Yes, no perforations.

Yes, if you have a side impact accident there will be a deflated airbag draped on the seats with the 2LT-3LT

Actually it will be a deployed airbag (fully, at that), at the time of impact. Then it will quickly deflate!!! LOL!!!

Not true, according to the pictures on the GM dealer's Web site I saw last Friday; they're all perforated. BTW, all the '07 Corvette brochure says is, "Savor perforated leather seating surfaces, including optional heated seats and available Sport seats with power back angle, lumbar and side-bolster adjustments."

What I want to know is, power stuff aside, is the construction of the base seat and the 2LT/3LT seats the same?

Here is a picture of the 1LT and the 3LT. This seats were customized so none of them have the perforated leather, but you can get an idea how each one looks. The gray and black are the 1LT and the gray and red are the 3LT.

Here is how they looked installed

Just prior to ordering a 2007 coupe, I did a visual side-by-side checkout of a 1LT and 2LT seat on two 2006 models. No perforations on the 1LT; I felt the general construction was superior on the 2LT seat; side and bottom bolsters felt better padded on 2LT; passenger seat is power on 2LT. You also get choice of 4 colors when upgrading to 2LT or 3LT. Black is all you can get with 1LT.

Based on this, I decided to upgrade my order to include the 2LT package.

The main difference between the 1LT and 2LT/3LT seats is that the 1LT has a one piece seatback where the 2LT and 3LT have a two piece seat back to house the side airbag in a separate "halo" or bolster.
