Tell them you don't know because your dad bought it for you .
Who really cares......he was probably just wondering if he could afford one..... haven't you ever seen something and wondered what it cost? Not a big deal in my opinion........
What I hate more is the look when they say "oh it's not the Z06" after asking.
:
Yep, hear that a lot too!
When I'm asked cost, I usually tell them the truth...NBD
I "now" park in a different parking lot at work (same job, different area), that is "space challenged”
I’ve asked several people for advice on where to park (you know, the usual question to coworkers)…with one response of “driving a car like that here, you deserve to be _____ “(fill in the blank)
Wow!
I always say $500. If pressed further, I'll add "and my first born." Tacky, huh!
My oldest son and I went to Bowling Green to watch my 06 C6 get built in late March. Kevin Terrance gave us the tour. Near the end, the lady that prints out the sticker comes over and shows it to me before she put it on the car, it was a little over $49,000. I looked at the sticker, then at my 6'4" tall son, then I asked the lady very nicely, "would you take my first born in trade?" She laughed and laughed then politely turned me down. Too bad because I think my son would have enjoyed working there.
i find that asking someone the cost of something, especially if its a stranger is borderline rude. they dont want to really know how much it costs anyway.ask me about the year, ask me about the top speed, dont expect me to discuss finance with you!!
