Rubber sagging......

what's up with that piece of rubber stripping sagging over part of my Vin# on my new 06?

Others have reported the problem. Do a search...as I recall someone thought you could stick something in there and fix it...others thought there was no fix (without removing windshield).

That's actully been the only problem I encounted with my C6-06 vert. Now heres the reaaly weird thing, initially the right side dropped and partially covered the last few vin digits. Somehow it now has dropped a little bit the other way, and is literly perfectly level with the vin# It looks like it "supposed" to be that way. I just hope it stays just the way it is now. I look at it every now and then, strange........... but NO WAY I am pulling the windshield.

I took a black Magic Marker and put several coats of the ink on the outside of the windshield over the VIN area...now it just blends in with the heavy tint at the bottom of the windshield, with no VIN visible...a no cost do-it-yourself project.
