They are the same, AC Delco just adds a C on the end of it for the ones sold in Canada. FWIW, the AC Delco filters sold in Canada are made by Dana in Cambridge ON (who also make Wix, NAPA Gold, Carquest and Kralinator)

Thanks Patrick...This was my guess that the C stood for Canada as I noticed on the side of the filter where it was made. The funny part is that the PF44 is discontinued in the US in favor of the PF46 and in Canada you can only get the PF44.
I compared both filters yesterday and the PF46 is heavier and seems to favors filtration over flow as the passes holes are quite smaller. To go on the very safe side I ordered a 6 pack of UPF44 this morning from parts Bob.

BTW I read many of you comments in other post about oil and you came across very knowledgeable on the subject.

I guess you could call me a bit of an oil nut. I'm one of the administrators on the bobistheoilguy.com message board, and spend way too much time reading about oil.
