Default Passenger window problem

I picked up a firend of mine the other day and when he went to close the door it wouldndt close. It was like there was something between the door and the door jam. it took me a minute to figure it out but the window wasnt rolling itself down to close. The glass was hitting the outside of the seal. For the rest of the day I had to make sure the window was rolled down before the door shut. The next day it seemed to fix itself. Anyone else experience this?

That's called window indexing and the manual tells you how to reset it.

Raise the window and hold the up button an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up button again for 3 seconds. Release. Done.

BTW, do the preceding with the door open.

Read the owner's manual before getting yourself into a snit...all the info you need is right there!

This happens to my driver side sometimes on hot days. The window is indexed, for some reason it doesn't index all the way some times??????

I'd try resetting the indexing per post no. 2 above. If that doesn't solve the problem, you probably need to see your dealer.
