I'm trying to understand how the F55 MSRC option compares to the stock suspension, and Z51.
If it's in tour mode, is it essentially the same as (or close to) the stock suspension? And is the sport mode closer to the Z51 suspension?
Does the suspension have a dynamic component to it while driving, or is it statically in tour or sport mode? If it is dynamic, how does that benefit the car/driver?
Sorry to sound a little ignorant, just wondering what exactly $1,995 gets you.
Tour Mode makes the car float smoothly over bumpy roads. Sport Mode tightens up the suspension for a sporty ride. You will feel the bumps in this mode. The F55 is the best of both worlds. Z51 owners will soon chime in soon and try to convince you that you should buy a Z51. I have no regrets about buying my F55.
The optional F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension adds to the Standard suspension magneto-rheological dampers that are able to detect road surfaces and adjust the damping rates to those surfaces almost instantly for optimal ride and body control.
From: Muncie, Indiana ...... Can I buy an amplifier on time ... I ani't got no money now but I'll pay you before I die

The biggest benefit is keeping the tires in cotacted with the pavement at all times while giving the flatest ride. You just can't compare F55 shocks to conventional shocks. What do you get for $1,995. Well for $1,695 you get the most technically advanced suspension system on the road today. The other $300 is for the rotors with holes in them new for 07.

Thanks...
The only information I can offer is that I drove a base suspension C5. The F55 in tour mode is softer than my C5 was and the switch moved to sport mode is stiffer and less body roll than my C5 had. The F55 was the right choice for me and affords me some flexibility on long trips for just a bit more creature comfort. Good luck in your choice.
