Finally it has happened and I'm ordering my first 'Vette and I'm busting at the seams. Now that I pulled the trigger I want it YESTERDAY!! Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and say how much I have been enjoying the banter in the forum. You have already given me so much useful information and I might add a few chuckles here and there.(F55vsZ51 anyone LOL). By the way my baby is Mont. Red F55 A6 coupe, but before I place the final order has anyone had a chance to see the two-tone cashmere/black set up with that paint scheme and what are your opinions. At this time this seems to be my only dilemma in ordering. Well folks as I used to say in a previous life I am dam_ glad to be here, and I look forward to my association with all of you.
Congratulations on the purchase.
I have not seen the new seats so I won't be able to help you there, sorry. I can tell you that you made the right decision going with a C6.
The hardest part is coming now... waiting for the delivery of the car.
Congrats on what will probably be the first of many Vettes you will own. It really is an addiction. I haven't seen the two-tone combination you are getting yet, but a friend just bought a '07 with black and grey two-tone and and it looks awesome. I'm sure your combination will look just as good.
You have that right! That will be the hardest aspect of this process. Instead of a garage with a car to wander into and stare at I guess I will just have to be content with the pictures on my computer. Dealer says I may get in line for a late Aug. allocation.
Welcome to the forum and congrats on pulling the trigger!! I think there was post a couple days ago with that color combo in Monty red posted to forum. It looked pretty good IMOH.
If go to this http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ight=Monty+red
or go to search and type in monty read will see thread Driving my 2007 C6 from national corvette musuem and also one Here a Pic of Monty Red with two tone titanium. Be able to see a couple of pics of both two tone interiors

Yo, 5 - Welcome aboard! Can I imply from your handle that you do/did a lot of work around Sherman Field?
Yes I saw that being built at the assembly plant - looks great!

Congrats on your upcoming arrival! I haven't seen the 2-tone seats in person yet, only in pictures. Though I love Monterey Red, I must admit that I'm not much of a cashmere guy; I'd go with 2-tone Ebony / Titanium.

If they called it 'camel' instead of 'cashmere' I bet you'd like it.
Welcome to the Forum Blueangel5!
You're going to love your car! Hang in there...it'll be here before you know it.
Greetings Lee, Welcome to the forum. You will love this car, closest thing to flying I've found in a car. Amazing speed, great power and handling. The cockpit is nicely laid out, all business. the HUD has a good presentation and the ride is outstanding. Looking forward to reading your impressions once you kick the tires and light the fires.
