Replacement Key/FOB

I just came across this key for the C5 : http://corvettekey.com/

It seems pretty cool, has anyone heard of the same thing for the C6 ?
That would be a nice replacement for the not released new 07 FOB and we could all have it.

Saw that and looked for C6. No such luck. The new FOB for '07 was supposed to look like that but I heard a rumor that that was shelved.

Seems that they don't even know if they will be able to make it for 08 models. Anyways you can't retrofit the new FOB on a 05 or 06 C6.

I have emailed the guys at corvettekey.com to see if they had any plans on making one for the C6. I let you know what they anser.

It should be doable, since it's just a plastic case with a foldable key in which you put the electronic board that you have in your current FOB. You are then supposed to go to a locksmith to have your physical key copied to the foldable key.

That's exactly what we need. Let me know what they say. If these guys can make a fob with a key that folds in, why can't GM? The seperate key and fob are a waste of space.
