Just ordered my build sheet...
In the center of the top header band is the word Corvette in bold 5/8" high block letters with the C6 crossflag icon on each side. In the top header band, there are two blocks left of Corvette: the left-most block has the model number in bold numerals 11/16" high, either 67 for convertible, or 37(?) for coupes. These numerical codes are a holdover from days of yore...they go all the way back to the St. Louis Corvette plant...at least 1960 or before.
The next block just to the left of Corvette is the vehicle color designated in both the ordering code (e.g. 80U) and text (Red Jewel). The header block just to the right of Corvette has the order number for your car.
A large white field in the center of the build sheet lists the ordering codes and descriptions of all the equipment and options to be installed on the vehicle. Broad borders on each side of this field are subdivided into a multitude of small blocks that itemize the specific options and equipment by three and four character alphanumerical codes, most of which you will not recognize.
The left end of the footer band at the bottom has the complete VIN number with the last six characters bold and 2X height...e.g. 1G1YY36U065101000, and below the VIN number is the bar code for the VIN. In the center of the footer band is the charge code and mailing address for your dealer, and below that, your dealer's "Ship To" address. On the far right side of the footer band, there is a six digit number in 5/8" high bold font which is the "Job Number" for your car.
If the document your dealer printed does not appear as described above, it is not the build sheet.
