Default Need Help Quick!!

Just bought 07. Wife just called. Says drivers door does not close all the way and window not working right. Are the 2 related? How do you reset the windows to drop down when you open door and then go back up into gasket when you close it?

P.S. IT'S RAINING and the interior is getting wet!

DO NOT Roll up the windows while the doors are open. The windows are indexed to automatically roll down slightly upon exit or entrance.

To reset the window indexing (okay while the doors are open), raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Fixed.

Try resetting the window indexing first.

Wanted to get my intial response out there so you knew what to do. If the door is not shutting you most likely rolled up the windows with the door open and then are trying to shut the doors. If you do that you should hear a repeating bell alarm to indicate that there is something wrong, meaning you left accessory mode on, or left your key fob inside the car while exiting, or rolled up your windows with the doors open. The door glass fits inside the top for a better fit. You may need to setup your window indexing if this does not fix the problem but you should be able to lower and raise your windows via the power switch in the meantime.
