It would be awesome if all of the DIY stuff that is posted on here could be put in the same section for easy reference. With all of the projects that we do on here (painting calipers, engine components, exterior body pieces, interior trim, installing exhaust systems, headers, brakes, fixing ash tray lids etc.) it would be nice if all the DIY threads could be found in the same section. Just a suggestion.
Yeah, it would be great if maybe the best "how-to's" were made into stickies in the tech or some other section. Maybe a DIY section under the Tech section. Thanks for any help. I think it would be a big help to a lot of us DIYers.
Ok...the info has been passed along. As for when or if this happens soon I cannot say. In the meantime I suggest making anything you see that is a good DIY a Favorite so you have a link to it as a well as being able to forward it later if this section gets up and going.

For the time being, one could just be sure to use "DIY" in the title or post body, and then a search could find all similar posts...
Personally, I would prefer (lookit me getting choosy here <laugh>) that things like painting calipers, adding screens to the fenders, etc were further specified as "appearance mod DIY", as opposed to the excellent TECHNICAL FIXES on ash tray pop out, console rattle fix, working with run-flat transducers, etc.
I mean, I myself am not too interested in:
1. Open box with chrome piece inside
2. Remove the wax paper over the sticky tape
3. Plaster chrome on top of existing functional item already existing
4. Repeat until wallet empty...
