Look up "C6 emblem" on the big internet auction site. There was one listed yesterday for $20.00 + $4.05 S&H. If it's not on today, check back again at a later date as it shows up quite often. It is iron-on and very simple to do. Pipedreams at one time had instructions posted on how to do this so the cover is stretched to it's installed position while doing the iron-on. Basically all you need to do is measure the spacing between mounting points on your hatch, transfer these dimensions to a 4' x 4' piece of plywood and install a nail or screw at each of the five mounting points. Install the cover on this frame, position the emblem where you want it to be and iron it on. To prevent scorching, I placed a damp rag over the emblem and used a steam iron in the cotton setting moving the iron back and forth for about a minute. Then I flipped the entire cover over on the plywood frame and ironed from the back side, again with the damp rag between the iron and the back side of the cover. I've installed one on my cover and another on the back of a nylon folding chair that I use at Corvette events. I believe that this is the same emblem that Pipedreams was using. It is excellent quality.
Chuck thanks for the detailed instructions. I went to ebay and could not find one at this time. Guess I'll be checking back often to see if I can round one up.
I PM'd Ed as well. Perhaps he can direct me.
