You gotta love these guys! From my local dealer, who has a good shop fortunately.
A Victory Red Z06 fully loaded with Nav and all the toys for 20K over Sticker. Tried to tell me that it was only one of 2 on the entire west coast.

well, if a person is one of the 'gotta haves' what's a mere $20 K extra?
Personally, I'd want to know if it has the new , will not come off, roof prior to forking over what for most people is several years pay.
thankfully I am not one of the gotta haves. I'd like a Z06 perhaps someday but am waiting until GM comes out with something 'better'. Then all the gottas will chase it cash in hand while I'll buy the 'old tired worn out' technology of the Z06 for a song.

The dealer where I bought my C6 had a black Z06 for +15K over sticker and another one (red) on the way the following week with the same markup.
Both were pre-sold. You pay what the market will bear.

I was talking with my dealer yesterday about his allocations. My '07 coupe was finally shipped yesterday and we were discussing when it might show up. He disclosed that he has 4 Z06 allocations this year...the dealership gets about 36 total vettes a year. Their policy is that they will NEVER sell a car over MSRP. Every one of his Z's is spoken for.

Well the ones here in N. VA are asking a mere $30K over MSRP for the 4-5 on the lot as we speak!! I guess we're all rich! 
But they'll get sold to somebody who doesn't mind losing over $30k as soon as they sign and drive off the lot!
