The weather was gorgeous here this weekend, so we spent a lot of time in the Corvette.

Saturday
Waved at a C5. Eye contact with driver, no wave.
Waved at a C3. Eye contact with driver, no wave.
Waved at a 2007 BMW M5. Wave returned.

Sunday
Waved at a C6. Guy joyfully returned the wave.
Waved at an XLR. Eye contact with driver, no wave.
Waved at a Shelby Cobra. Wave returned.

I'm trying guys, but I guess only other enthusiasts like our cars.

the ones that don't wave are either in another place (thinking) or don't know the wave routine. I wave and about 30% are returned. Some just look at me like I am crazy!

If I'm in a foul mood and I don't get the wave in return as I pass them, I will occasionally tell them they are #1. That is if my top is down. Usually I just wave and smile even if it isn't reciprocated.

Three Vets tonight - no waves - I flash the peace sign (V for Vet). Two for two yesterday! Guess peeps were bummed it was Sunday and the weekend was over.....

I think that many people see a C6 and think it's a Ferrari. I got a lot of looks in my C5, I get a lot of confused looks in my C6.

Beautiful weekend here, and lots of Vettes in the area for EVS car show in Random Lake.

Got 100% wave return all weekend!!!

I took a day trip with 4 other Vettes today.3 of them were C6s and two of us were in C5s...we must of seen 20 Vettes going the other direction..and I believe everyone waved at us today.It was great...

I guess the non-Corvette drivers must not like Vettes.
