06 clutch problem

I found this bulletin, but it is for an 05 c6 MN6. I have an 06 plus I have headers that the dealer installed and a cam in the car. This is the exact problem I am having with my car. DO you guys think its possible to get the clutch replaced under warranty since there is a bulletin out for it on a c6.

Without digging into the car much, the 'clutch sticking to the floor' problem can be eliminated commonly by reducing clutch throw.
It worked for my early '05, and I've had no further trouble:

That metal bracket attaches to the clutch arm nubbin, backwards, so that the head of the bolt engages the floorboard cut out switch earlier than normal. This effectively reduces clutch throw. Benefits also include earlier clutch engagement.
I'm sure that there are more ways to skin this cat, but I'd rather do something simple like this then have them tearing into my car.
