A 19x12 (Z-06 sized with correct offset) wheel in the stock C6 painted rim configuration? I'm getting ready to put some flared fenders on the rear but would like to keep the stock appearance (at least from a distance) of my car if at all possible.

Further, if I go this route I would only need the two rear rims rather than purchasing four new rims.

Haven't seen any. All the 19 12s I've seen are another style.

Nice plan - I'll conrinue to look.

Unfortunately John it appears that they don't make stock C6 (non-split spoke) rims in Z06 sizes. Therefore my options are to (a) have the 19x10 rims cut in half with a 2" band added and rewelded to make a 19x12 rim or (b) buy 4 new rims of some other pattern.

I would be reluctant to go with the welded/modified rims for two reasons. One, concern about safety/strength of the rim and two, the offset would be incorrect.

Looks like I will have to keep looking at new rims until I can find something that I like. Too bad, as I really wanted to keep the car looking "stock" at a quick glance or at a distance.

Could be dangerous.

But your problem is nothing that an additional $2k won't fix.
