This stinks. I bought my 2007 last week and it RAINS EVERY DAY. I am not a primidonna when it comes to my car but i'd like to keep it off the filthy wet roads for at least its infancy. It says Sun tomorrow, lets hope so what good is a brand new corvette if you can't even enjoy driving the damn thing
Had to drive my C6 to Road America for the ALMS race. Rained most of the way on Friday. Guess what! It didn't melt! That's my car in the Corvette Corral (second from the right)
You guys and your rain complaints! Out here in sunny So. Cal. we have no idea what rain is in the summer time. Good for the car, bad for the avocado grove. You don't want to know how much it costs to water avocados in the summer.
We've had a couple of sprinkles in the Seattle area since early June. Oh sorry, I forgot, it rains here ALL the time.
Seriously, sorry to hear about the weather there. I got my car in December and it DOES rain here then. It was really tough to see it sitting in the garage and not being able (okay willing) to drive it. And then, when I did drive it and the roads were a little damp the butt got all dirty.
Hang in there. The weather will improve and you'll be able to drive soon!
When I bought my then new 2004, it raind on the way home. It also rained everyday for the following two weeks. That car saw saw more rain in its first two weeks, than the 99 that I traded in, that I also bought new, saw durring the five years I owned it. Take it out and enjoy it.
If you'd move to Kennesaw you wouldn't get wet. Even drove to work today with the top down and drove home with the top down
LOL Hey Don and Francis.
I too did the same today here in atlanta FINALLY took the long way home with the top down, it was hot out but tha AC in these works well even with the top down
