I just installed some LED back up light bulbs. 80 watt LED's from Southern Car Parts for $52.95 for a set of 2. They seem to be much brighter than the stock ones so I bought some blacked out lens covers from RPI.
I understand that we would like to see better backing up but the intent of the reverse lights is to let people behind you that you are reversing not to provide light to see better, that is why they started installing back up cameras.

They should have installed back up cameras in all C6's. There's too much of a blind spot directly behind it even in the day time.
I purchased these a couple of weeks ago. Better, but still not what I have come to expect in reverse lights. I also disagree that reverse lights are for others to see you. If that were the case, we would only have amber running lights and not headlights.

Well, I have NO tint and find it hard to see when backing up at night!
Wish someone would sell a backup camera that displays on the Nav screen like my neighbor's 5 year old Infinity.
Thought you should know there are people on this forum who have added a back up cam to their nav system. Adding a camera can be very inexpensive to those more knowledgeable than myself. My 08 C6 did not come with that set up, so I had an Alpine touch screen nav system with a back up camera installed. There are some threads on here that could steer you in the direction you want. Here's what I did. Good luck.
