Just picked up my first Corvette last week. Traded in my 02 supercharged Mustang. I am now the proud owner of a pretty Lemans blue Z-51 mn6 loaded. I have owned several Mustangs (don't flame) and was a member of a couple Stang boards. Ran into the flame contests on the stang boards, so I stopped posting, hopefully that sort of thing is kept to a minimum here. Anyways, I will say, that I LOVE this car!!! Please no comments about having owned a Ford. I am not a brand specific guy, but rather a car guy. I can apprciate a great car no matter who the manufacture is.

I had a 2004 Mustang Mach1. Traded in for a SUV for the wife. Then traded her old car in for the Vette. I actually owned a vette before. While in the possesion of my Mustang I also was on the boards and you are right, there are a lot of flaming going on. But I think it may be because the younger age group is in the majority. I also stopped posting and stuck to PMing questions to certain members. But hey, welcome aboard and you are going to love the vette.

Welcome, many moons ago I had a '85 Mustang GT that won first place in a car show. I modded it too much and it became too rough riding and loud. I won't do that to my C6.

I was going to order a Roush Stage 3 but the Ford dealer didn't want to bargain, so I wound up test driving a Vette. Game Over!
