Autotrain????
Going to FL at the end of the month would like to have the car down on South Beach for a day or two. The autotrain is how I have gotten to FL in the past.

Heck, once you get past Richmond, the drive is a breeze.. you have the car.. why not make the trip.
Besides, do you let others park your car? Frankly, I would not trust those Amtrack employees with my car...

I've driven from NYC to FLA many times. Once you pass Richmond the trip is a breeze.
Driving south on I95 all the way through Florida is a bit of a PIA. You are better off picking up the FLA Turnpike as soon as you can and taking it the rest of the way. I know it hooks up with 95 somewhere in the northern half of FLA but I can't remember which exit.

Particularly if you have a significant other with you, the train can be a very pleasant alternative to driving.
