I like Cr best and voted for them, but have the Comp Gray and love them on my black coupe. 3 bills vs 1800. The difference paid for the Bullets, Aircharger and will buy a new detector--plus lots of basically useless junk for my study!!!
Comp grey wheels look good on a black only car that's going for the stealthy, blacked out, tinted window look. On any other color car they just look like wheels whose owner hasn't bothered to clean the brake dust off of them.
Chromed wheels look great on '73 and older Vettes with other chrome body pieces. On the no chrome C6, all attention is drawn to the wheels, with none drawn to the car. They don't look bad at all...They just look out of place. The only exception to this is for Machine Silver, which is such a subdued SUV/sedan/minivan color that something...anything...is needed to breathe some life into the car.
Polished wheels are the bastard child of matte and chrome and are, unfortunately, incapable of making their own appearance statement.
The standard matte wheels look most appropriate for a world class GT. Check out the mega-buck Euro exoticars...You'd be hard pressed to find one that comes out of the factory with anything but matte wheels.
